And it’s also the great goal of major strategic measures to realize awell-off society in an all-round way and build a socialist harmonious society.Nowadays, new generation of migrant workers has become the main body of China’sindustrial workers, but limited by dual structure between urban and rural areas, most ofthem locate on the edge of the city, they still face obstacles such as social security,children education, housing and so on. In the process of city integration, socialproblems also increasingly cause the extensive concern of government and society.Through the survey data, we can easily find that the education degree and developmentexpectations of new generation of migrant workers are generally improving. Most ofthem enter society after graduation, they wish they could become citizens and live adecent life. they focus on working conditions and their labor rights and interests. Theypay more attention to improving their skills and personal all-round development. At thesame time, they want to blend in the urban society on spiritual level. The paperdiscusses the various problems when new generation of migrant workers melt into thecities.The corresponding solutions are put forward. The article’s structure is asfollows:Firstly, define the concept of new generation of migrant workers, state the relatedtheoretical basis, and analyze the characteristics of the new generation of migrantworkers. On this basis, point out that the great significance of city integration inpromoting the pace of modernization and urbanization in our country and solving theproblem of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" and so on. Secondly, expound thepresent situation of the new generation migrant workers. Through the analysis of the new generation of migrant workers’ characteristics in the urbanization process, we canroughly divide into the following four aspects: occupational marginalization,economical status marginalization, social identity marginalization and social securitystatus marginalization. Then the author has carried on the bold prediction for the futuredevelopment trend of China’s new generation of migrant workers in cities, andconsidered the positive influence and negative influence when they melt into cities. Byanalyzing the restrictive factors of social environment on the new generation migrantworkers, including the system factor, economic factor, social environmental factors aswell as their own factors, thus it is concluded that the situation of city integration inour country at present is still not optimistic. But the author thinks that as the size of thenew generation of migrant workers in China tends to be stable, the social system to bemore perfect, the future of new generation migrant workers’s master identity will becompletely manifest. Finally, in view of the problems new generation of migrantworkers have encountered in the process of urbanization, the author puts forward somesolutions and thinking path. The purpose is to let new generation of migrant workersmelt into the city better, which guarantees the healthy development of urbanization.
