Study On Police Public Relations

In recent years, lots of crisis events of police public relations, have attracted the attention of mass media and received the criticism of all circles. These events have seriously damaged the image of the police and had an adverse effect on the public security work. The frequent occurrence of the crisis events of police public relations has urged the public security organs to change the concept of law enforcement and to strengthen the function of service and has made the construction of police public relations become more and moreconcerned and cared; it also highlighted the necessity and urgency of crisis management of police public relations. Crisis management of police public relations optimizes police public relations, prevents the occurrence of crisis events and finds the crisis events early, respond in time and dispose effectively as well. Crisis management of police public relations is needed by public security organs for faithfully doing their duties and historical missions and for continuously optimizing the concept of law enforcement and public service, and for conscientiously defending the reputation and good image of the government.Based on the analysis of emergency events happened in Cangnan county,we tried to find the difficulty of how to construct Police public relations and its reason. At the end of the dissertation,we tried to find the way that how to construct Police public relations in practice.
