According to the national bureau of statistics show that more than60one full year oflife in China at the end of2012elderly population has reached194million, of which therural elderly, constituting sixty percent of the total that is to say the rural elderly populationhas more than one hundred million. With the continuous development of China’surbanization, small towns and rural young adults after another into the big cities, ruralleft-behind population in rural and small town, in an increasing proportion of older people.Since the eighty s began to implement the family planning policy, the resulting increase inthe number of\"4-2-1\" family, China’s pension compared with the previous traditionalpension model, new problems facing a new dilemma. Such as the aging speed of smalltowns, family endowment function weakened, serious problems of the left-behind elderlycare, and so on. In front of this new situation, opt for pension institution of elderly willincrease gradually.At present our country endowment institutions mainly divided into old age apartment,nursing home, nursing homes, nursing homes and other forms.Most current level of pension agency service only stay on the nursing care of aspects,such as service, there are few institutions pay special attention to the spiritual needs of theelderly, how to use of professional social work method in institution endowment, bettermeet the needs of the elderly spiritual, let the elderly old be raised at the same time alsocan old-aged’s providing, which is the focus of this study.This paper, taking a urban pension institutions in Shandong province as the researchbackground, through field interviews, telephone interviews and get more in-depthinformation, through consulting a large number of literature provide more theoreticalsupport for the thesis, and supplemented by observation in the actual plan implementation, find the problems existing in the implementation of activities, thinking scheme and thedisadvantages of the ways to solve the problem. Aimed at the early stage of the specificconditions and actual needs analysis, get the pension agency managers agree that designedfor the elderly director for their intervention plan, fully integrate the available resources,provide effective support to director. Case work and group work are two of the threemethods of social work, social workers in case work in cooperation with director trust eachother harmonious relations, fully arouse the enthusiasm of the potential of egotism itselfand, to explore, research director of the problems, family and social environment, using theegotism itself and external resources, to improve director problem solving skills, to achievethe purpose of help director to grow. Group work is through targeted groups experience, tohelp people improve their social function, in a more effective to deal with individuals,groups or communities. So in a small town pension agency introducing case study andgroup work in these two kinds of professional social work method can help the elderly tosolve due to some reason of inferiority, loneliness and loss of role transformation difficulty.In this study, the author through analysis of typical cases, summed up in a small town inpension agency effect of professional social work method and deficiency in actual planimplementation, and put forward improvement Suggestions to solve these deficiencies,hope for social workers to provide reference in the institutions endowment service.
