The Study On Rural Social Endowment Problems In A County

China's population aging is is becoming more and more serious,and the elderly endowment problems have been brought into public focus.In rural area,the family structure is miniaturizing,the function of land endowment is becoming weak,the traditional ways of old-age care can not meet the needs of the elderly,therefore, the elderly need an impeccable social endowment system to cover the shortages of the traditional ways.Studying rural social endowment problems and solving these problems is not only related to the elderly and their families' happiness,but also the harmony and stability of our society.This paper takes A County' rural social endowment problems as the study subject by questionnaire and depth interview referring to the existing study results and using social security theory and Maslow's hierarchy of needs,as to make an empirical study of the social endowment problems in A County.This paper analyzed the status and existing problems of institutional pension,social endowment insurance, health care services and spiritual lives service provided to the elderly by our society.In the end,this paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures to the existing problems.Through the study to explore rural social endowment problems,this paper suggests that government,social pepole and rural elderly must work together as to get a long-term mechanism.The government should actively publicize elderly-care policies,social pepole should frequently provide corresponding help,rural elderly should actively cooperate with the works of social endowment.
