Changshu City, Construction Of Small Towns Studied

Small cities and towns play an important role in economic development of the countryside at present, which are not only the center of commodity economy of the countryside, but also the material basis of industrialization, modernization and urbanization of villages. We can regard small cities and towns as the new driving force to economic development of the countryside on the present stage, as well as the new economic growth point. Therefore, the study of building up small cities and towns is of momentous current significance in the viewpoint of sustainable development. In the framework of socialist market system, this paper analyses the development of Chang shu as a typical case so as to realize the agricultural sustainable development on a basis of connection with continually efficient experimental plot in the developed areas along the coast. Firstly, based on theory, the paper analyses that developing small cities and towns is a road characterized as the model of urbanization of villages in China. Secondly, it introduces the relationship between building up small cities and towns and the agricultural sustainable development, Thirdly, this paper has an analyses on generation and operation system of small cities and towns in Chang shu and the meaningful function in its economic reform, Fourthly, the paper analyses collection and proliferation effect of the population and economy in the course of building up small cities and towns in Chang shu. Fifth, the paper measures and evaluates the urbanization level of small cities and towns in Chang shu and finds out the main factors blocking the development of small cities and towns in Chang shu. Then, the sixthly, study makes innovation on system and institution. Finally, based on above all, the paper provides many practical plans and designs to small cities and towns in Chang shu with the policy of sustainable development. This paper aims at searching for the way to deal with the development of small cities and towns by studying Chang shu, which continually enhances productivity, maintains high efficiency and sustainable employment of agricultural resources in experimental plot so as to realize the sustainable development of agricultural economy, as well as rural economy, and set an example for developed areas along the coast, even all over the country.
