In recent years, with the development of economy at the present stage in China, increasing division of social structure and interests’ pattern in many ethnic minority areas, contradictions and conflicts between different interest subjects escalating, a series of interest for the purpose of rights protest occurred frequently. Therefore, the study of collective action multi-ethnic region has become both a theoretical and practical significance of an urgent task. Based on in the perspective of social conflict theory and taking collective action as the research concept of collective action in multi-ethnic areas, the cause, process, mechanism and results of Collective action in the multi-ethnic region is analyzed scientifically, and the relationship between different interest subjects and its power of the words is analyzed deeply, and then explore a multi-ethnic region analysis path of collective action.The main contents are as follows:The first part is an introduction, and wrote a proposal to examine the origin of the problem, theoretical foundation, research overview, definition, analysis and discussion of the article and prepared the way and theoretical basis. In this section, the theory of social conflict is sorted and focused on combing the conflict Corer’s theory for the study of events providing a theoretical framework. Meanwhile, Collective action Spaces are described.The second part (chapter two, three, four, five), first of all, the structural factors of collective action are analyzed, and the historical reason. Secondly, analyzed the case village elite, different organizational action logic, this paper discusses the village collective action strategy. Once again, from the individual, the external, specific social situation this paper discusses the mechanism of events. Finally, tells the story of the final compromise of collective action process. Through a lot of interview data reduction for multiple villages, the full process of collective action is restored.The third part (chapter six or seven) discusses the relationship between the collective action associated with the number of villages, the villagers’ belief, village society, and the village social capital. In the conclusion part, the author thinks the collective action in multi-ethnic areas.
