On Chinese Policy Discourse Transition Conversion

Discourse is not only the description of social reality, but also reflects socialchange. Policy discourse is a unique view to display the condition of executive powerand policy practice. The change of Chinese policy discourse is a vital aspect to embodypolitical institution and mechanisms. In the public policy discourse system, the policydiscourse content, context and forms of expression have different characteristics indifferent periods. Through the historical review on Chinese transformation of policydiscourse, the writer used critical analysis and discourse analysis method to analyze thedevelopment of policy discourse in China. China is in a period of social transformationand reform, the policy discourse is also facing a new round of conversion. Changingpolicy discourse needs policy communication and interaction, and the conversionprocess is tough. Considering all the problems and difficulties, this paper comes up withsome strategies for changing policy discourse so that our policy discourses towardinternationalization, democratic and scientific direction. The transformation of Chinesepolicy discourses is beneficial to the stability of our society and democracy building. Itmeans a lot to the development of discourse system socialism with Chinesecharacteristics.
