Study Of The Employment Issues Of The Project Of College Student Volunteers’ Service In The West And Its Solution

College student volunteers plan in service the west (West Plan) has been carried out for10years,and now more than100,000volunteers have attended this project. With the propulsion of West Plan and intensified increasing of employment pressures, the employment problems of college student volunteer’s loom large which make the relevant department have to focus on. How to well resolve the issues relate to the entire implementation and healthy development of West Plan.This paper focus on the college student volunteers serving in the west,starts from the implementation and employment situation of West Plan, analyzes the history of its beginning and developing,the format of its running and management, the effect of its implementation, generalizes the employment preferential policy’s put-forward, development, main contents, and its basic situation and features. Basing on the realistic situation of the implementation of West Plan, the author sums up main issues existing in its employment policy, employment surroundings, volunteers themselves etc. and puts forward some suggestions and resolutions on how to improve the volunteers’employment situation.This paper uses several researches including literature search, deep interview, questionnaire study, and on-site observation to systematically study the volunteers’ employment situation. This paper concludes that its employment policy, employment surroundings, volunteers themselves are the main element influencing the employment situation, so we should establish and complete voluntary service approval procedure, implement the feasible operation of preferential policy, optimize the employment surrounding, build the support system and advance the volunteers’ employment quality.
