As one form of art, drama concerns about being and express the humanity. Education cultivates and develops being.Therefore, drama and education has the sam e feature "concerning about being". Integrating the elements of drama and Education theatre into the Chinese class can not only improve the students’learning interests and teaching effect, but also improve being quality of the teacher and students basically, which can fulfill the aim "all for the students’development" of the New Curriculum Change.This thesis altogether consists of four chapter.The first chapter is about the studying motivation, meaning, objects and methods. The second chapter illustrates that Drama in Education can release the class on four aspects:bringing public place and arousing democratic consciousness, displaying social contents and stimulating learn consciousness, supplying communication stage and constructing participating consciousness, ensuring safe experience and cultivating creative consciousness. Next, this chapter summarizes the definition and developed status of Drama in Education, differentiate the same and difference of Drama in Education and Education of Drama: Drama in Education is a drama teaching form with the aim of education while Drama Education is an activity which mainly concentrates on drama learning and aims at edcating people.The following chapter first explores the pedagogy meaning, performance studies meaning, drama meaningand body aesthetic meaning of Drama in Education, and t hen illustrates the fitness between Drama in Education and Chinese New Curriculum on aspects of feature, aims, pedagogy value and learning mode. The fourth chapter co mments on the Apple Teaching Methods in Hong Kong and the Reader Theatre in Tai wan. Also, the daily practice of my drama in education including the text-book play, warming-up games will be presented.The paper was aim at introducing drama in education to Chinese teaching so that the teacher and students can create a practice opportunity to release their body and soul, which will give another new angle for the Chinese teaching’s reform.
