ObjectivesOn the experimental research of specific strength training within six weeks and twelve weeks forthe research subjects, the thesis probes into the following problems:①t heavailability forexperimental plan of the entire specific strength training;②the rationality for the specificstrength training plan;③the pertinence for the means and methods of specific sport abilitytraining containing specific strength, specific balance ability and specific control competence.SignificanceSnowboarding half-pipe is one of the regulation events in the Olympic Winter Games. Thecompetitive level of Chinese snowboarding athletes has caught up with the world first-class level.The foundation work for sustainable development of snowboarding half-pipe is to train highqualified athletes for reserve. Base on the practical training conditions in our country, there aresix to eight months without snow for the half-pipe athletes to be trained on land. During this time,both the general physical training and specific physical training should be carried out on land.The specific strength training should be done from the beginning of July to the end of September.Although there have been some researches on the plans, methods and programs of half-pipetraining over the years, an entire training plan which is proved effective has not been studied out.The significance of this thesis can be listed as follows:①A plan of specific strength trainingwhich is proved apparently effective can be provided for coaches;②Test indexes and evaluationanalyses can be provided to evaluate and supervise the training effects of specific strength,specific balance ability as well as control competence;③The scientific research foundation ofphysical training on land and effect analyses for snowboarding half-pipe junior athletes has beenset up, which can be taken as a reference to follow-up studies.MethodsBy means of experimental physical training on land, the thesis proved the rationality of thetraining plan based on the test results. The effect after training should be definitely obvious.Results①Vertical jump and standing long jump were taken as the indexes for the ability of vertical andhorizontal jump, from which the improvement of athletes’ lower limbs and core strength wasobvious.②After testing the index of single foot balance standing, the balance abilities of athletes were all improved apparently.③With the methods of free-hand supporting and fitness ball training, both of which were usedfor core stability, the control ability of nerve-muscle was improved.ConclusionsAfter analyzing and discussing the results of the experiments, the conclusions can be drawn asfollows:①The designed and implemented plan of specific strength training was feasible andeffective, which can be the reference to the physical training for snowboarding half-pipe juniorathletes;②T he specific strength training for half-pipe athletes mainly consists of the lower limbsand core functional strength, core stability strength, balance strength and strength controllingability;③It is necessaryto set up and use the indexes of specific strength development.
