Facing with such a changing information-based era, we have been advancingeducational informationization to a mature point. As one of the most highlightedmanifestation of educational informationization, online education, as well as therelated research, speeds up the development of various sorts of online resources.Diverse kinds of online education platforms contend so intensely that they providesufficient online educational resources while those disadvantages of online teachingplatforms occur in the process of development and application, as is revealed to us all.With the following aspects, the present research aims to facilitate the informationecology of information transfer and the internal structure of online educationplatforms and serves as a spur to induce the development and application of onlineteaching platforms, analyzing and designing its internal structure, concerning severaldisadvantages of online teaching platforms, from the perspective of informationecological environment.To start with, we analyzed the background of online teaching platform researchat home and abroad, compared the advantages with the disadvantages of onlineteaching platforms, and put forward the purpose and significance of present research,with an entry point of research background and origins.Secondly, we analyzed and designed the online educational platforms from theaspects of need analysis, design proposal, research method, with the introduction andguidance of information ecological environment theory. During the process of systemuser, internal structure, and logical flow design, the integrated programming of onlineeducational platforms was achieved based on information ecological environmenttheory.Finally, we clarified the introduction and the application of core technology ofonline teaching platforms and tested them tentatively, taking one subject as anexample, and the information ecology of online educational platforms was realized.Overall, from a new perspective, the present research analyzed, designed,achieved, and tested the function and structure of online education platforms, startingfrom their internal structure, building a model of information ecological environment,which advanced the development of online teaching platforms in future.
