China has been in an important historical transition since the reform and opening. The original pattern of interests among different classes changed and social contradictionescalated with the development of our society.“Non-direct interest conflict” was popularduring this period. The paper tries to analyze that phenomenon in the angle of Marxisthistorical materialism and provide guidance on the practical level.Firstly, the paper tries to expound the problem of “non-direct interest conflict” andemphasizes on the background and causes of some great-impact cases. Secondly, the paperdiscusses the negative impact of the problem and takes a reflection on the positive impact. Finally, we could find ways to prevent and resolve the problem. The paper was completed by using the literature research method and case studyapproach. I also summarized the academic material and analyzed the typical cases basedon Marxist materialism. The problem of “non-direct interest conflict” seems like a socialproblem, but I tried to analyze it from the view of philosophy. It means the paper is notonly a theoretical treatise, but also a sum of suggestions in practice, which is also theinnovation of this study.“Non-direct interest conflict” has a bad impact on the social development. Throughthe paper, I hope to help promote our all-round structural reforms and interest adjustment, reduce the negative influence of group conflicts and maintain social stability. So I canmake contribution to the construction of the new social relationship and harmoniouscoexistence of the core value and diverse values.
