The high school mathematics course has changed a lot in content, handling and system after the vector was introduced in. It is completely new for most of teachers, so it is an urgent task for them that is how to carry out effective vector teaching.This paper firstly analyzes and compares the related articles of vector teaching and study, and understands the vector knowledge background, practical application, processing of solid geometry problems and class teaching methods, then makes questionnaire and interview of the vector teaching and learning, and analyzes and summarizes them, so as to find out the vector teaching situation and the problems existing in the teaching.After analysis of a lot of relevant material, combined with my own teaching experience, this paper summarizes some teaching strategies about the high school mathematics vector effective teaching.Firstly, carefully study the teaching material and correctly grasp the teaching aim; Secondly, pay attention to vector concept teaching and build the solid foundation; Thirdly, pay attention to vector language teaching and make problem-solving tool developed; Fourthly, highlight mathematical thinking way in the process of teaching; Finally, organize and carry out the creative research learning activities.I wish it would be helpful for the teachers in vector teaching, promotion and implement of the New basic education curriculum reform.
