Xiangjiao version of high school geograghy II is onge of three compulsory modules of the average high school course standard experiment testbook,whose content is humanistic geogrghy. As one of three systems,image system is playing an increasingly pat in the life and examination.however,there is an obvious shortage in the past teaching and application process.Because of "the class A" carried out by our country for a long time,we don’t use our textbooks by comparison and selection,there is also less research about image system;In the past,there are many problems in the course of image teaching,we’11meet with many problems with using the image system of this book,there is still lack of systematic research on how to overcome these problems.what’s more,It should be a further study whether it’s valuable for the new featuer showing in the design of the new image system to train the students’geographical scientific literacyThis essay made a research on the main characteristics in the clesign of image system of Xiang Tiao Version,inclueling the proportion of image system,the guiding role which image system plays in teaching,the geographical knowledge and skills’master of image system and image system’s teaching process and teaching methods and so on.Based on the survey to the geography teachers and the students in senior1of No.1Middle school,No.10Middle school and Binhe Middle school,the rate of satisfaction to the image system of geograph teachers is high,and most of the image is used by the teacers;but the students can’t master it well,through the survey of the completeness of students’geographical cognition strueture,the situation of mastering the geographical image knowledge and geography pross and methods,the students can score50.1in average in full mark of100.In the process of teaching,the image can be used as the carrier,which plays a special role in training the students’ geographical perspective,scientific way of thinking and geographical cognition struction.This research is based on the image system of XiangJiao Version of Geography Ⅱ,we have a simple discussion about the design features of image system,the status of teachers’ using image system and students’ mastering image system,and the teaching methods’ usage in the process of teaching.The research results will make the teachers and students know about the image system of this book correctly,which will also make the teachers use the correct teaching methods through using the image system efficiently.
