In recent years, the forms of learning is also more colorful with thenational basic education curriculum reform, Independent learning is more andmore concerning and paid much attention. If the students want to acquireknowledge and skills to really improve the learning ability, they must beactively engaged in the physical experimental activities. In independentinquiry, by selecting laboratory equipment to determine the experimentalprogram and hands-on operation, observing the experimental phenomena, recording data, processing data, the students’ practical ability is to beincreased gradually. At the same time, deepen the understanding of theconcept of law to enhance students’ interests in learning physics. Independentstudy can make students experience a new way of learning. A few studentsmay not adapt to the specific implementation process.Maybe there isconfusion. But the input and interests of the majority of students about it isvery obvious. However, the enthusiasm is not enough. How can we deepenstudents’ understanding of the concept? It requires better self-learning withthe help of the "unconventional" physical experiment.Physics experiments can provide a wealth of emotional material, createthe learning environment for students ’cognitive rules to stimulate students’interest in learning, and allow students to motivate to learn in practice and toexplore the physics knowledge,so that they can promote the migration ofknowledge. However, the experimental equipment of the laboratory is limited. In addition to experimental resources of the laboratory equipment, it wasdiscovered that materials, goods, appliances in the living environment can bean important experimental resource through the development. The authorbelieves that with the implementation of the new curriculum, teachers canboldly use”unconventional physical experiment” in their class to promote students to study physics. It undoubtedly has an important practicalsignificance. In this study, the constructivist learning theory, situated cognition learningtheory and the concept of the new curriculum are used as a guide. Carry out"unconventional" physics experiment teaching as base to lead students tostudy physics. And we ask students to efficiently and independently exploresolutions such as ignoring the student’s individual feelings, lacing ofexperience of scientific inquiry and being not conducive to the migration ofstudents’ knowledge in the current junior high school physics teaching.Practice studies have shown that physical experiments promote thestudents’ablility of independent learning, including perception, attention, cognitive strategies, as well as memory and expression. They all haveoutstanding performance through the use of "unconventional",They can befound in the following areas:(1) to stimulate students ’interest in learning andlearning enthusiasm;(2) to promote students’ understanding of the physicalknowledge;(3)to strengthen the students to maintain the memory of physicalknowledge;(4)to be in favor of forward migration of students’ physicalknowledge;(5) to help students is closely linked to the physical and life. Ibelieve that the use of "unconventional" experiment to help students’independent learning physics knowledge can deepen the understanding of theconcept of law.
