Mathematics has a wide range of applications, this is one of the basic features of mathematics. The rapid development of production and technology for the application of mathematics to provide a broad prospect. The quality and capacity of applied mathematics has become one of the people must have the basic qualities and basic abilities. Therefore, mathematical modeling more and more attention has been paid and became one of the important topics of mathematics and other related disciplines, extensive public attention. As China’s basic education in the applications, the ability of students is relatively weak, so pay more attention to mathematical modeling. In this paper, the basic theory on the teaching of mathematical modeling, the historical background as well as at home and abroad to carry out mathematical modeling teaching situation, to clarify the need for teaching and research in mathematical modeling in high school. The implementation of the proposed mathematical modeling teaching strategies and to carry out the teaching of mathematical modeling Lesson. Problem to study the application of mathematical modeling in high school mathematics teaching.There are five parts included in this thesis:Chapter one:Introduction. In this part, the author introduces the aim and meanings of this topic, the ongoing results and innovation of this research home and abroad.Chapter two:Overview of mathematical modeling. First, define the relevant concepts; Second, research from the theoretical aspects of mathematical modeling methods and procedures; again, from different sides, the students of mathematical modeling teaching.Chapter three:High school mathematical modeling teaching strategies and case studies. Summarizes the three implementation strategies on the teaching of high school mathematical modeling based on the second chapter of relevant theory and survey and design of the two teaching cases.Chapter four:Mathematical modeling in high school mathematics teaching. Mathematical model to classify the concept of the new curriculum, to penetrate into the idea of mathematical modeling in the teaching of functions, equations, inequalities, series, trigonometry, linear programming, probability and statistics and other content.Chapter five:Concluding remarks. The teaching of high school mathematical modeling, as following:Firstly, the context of the new curriculum should actively encourage teachers to implementation of the mathematical modeling in the mathematics classroom teaching, while the smooth development of the teaching of high school mathematical modeling, we must rely on the clear teaching objectives rigorous teaching principles, rigorous teaching and science teaching strategies.Secondly, the reform of the mathematics curriculum should focus on strengthening the application of mathematics teaching, emphasis on mathematics and real life contact. The idea of mathematical modeling to penetrate into the teaching of functions, equations, inequalities, statistics and probability content, and promote the students gradually formed and developed the mathematical application awareness, improve practical ability.
