As a traditional sport, badminton has become one of the most important developing sports in our country and become more and more popular around the common people. Over the recent years, badminton has got great achievements. Take Beijing2008Olympic Games for example, our badminton teams won three gold medals, two silver medals and three bronze medals, which testifies Chinese badminton is promising. With the development of economy, health plays an essential role in people’s daily life due to many objective reasons and subjective reasons. As a result, people paid more attention to physical activity. Well, one of the factors that determine the future of Chinese badminton is how to train reserve talents. In terms of sports’ development around the world, the reason why some sports powerful countries are not declining is that they put a strong emphasis on the training of youth reserve personnel. Just as a famous saying goes that the youth is popular then the country is popular, then youth country, so does Chinese badminton. For a long time, people have studied how to train youth reserve force in macroscopic view. However, the current way of reserve personnel training is changing. So we should analyze the changing causes through sustainable development view in order to make sure such training effectively. At present, the development of badminton in Shenyang is in primary stage, which has huge gaps compared with what in other cities. Therefore, it is significant to strong badminton sports in Shenyang further and to realize its sustainable development. This paper shows the current situation and problems of contest badminton in Shenyang, surveyed104badminton players and19coaches in Shenyang, through questionnaire method, documentary analysis method, logical analysis, expert interview method, and mathematical statistics method and so on. According to the analysis, I found some problems about reserve force in badminton in Shenyang:the deficient local government’s measures, the singleness of training form and funds question etc. Form this, my conclusion is that local government pays less attention to badminton and training funds is lacking, although the relative management system is safe. Moreover, trainee’s pressure is high, but trainer’s qualities are excellent. In short, the potential in reserve force in badminton in Shenyang is tremendous. And it needs to be further explored.
