The nature of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge subject has always been adisputed topic. The unity of tool and humanism has been stipulated in the standard of the21thcentury new Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge as a basic feature of the subject. Alongwith the large scale of subject reform, people focus more on the humanism of the subject,even treat it as an idea nurturing lesson, but neglect the linguistic and literary knowledgeteaching itself resulting in the weakening of the knowledge, which worries us a lot.Special study has been conducted on the phenomenon in this thesis. Based on theprevious study, the thesis includes4parts.The first, demonstrate the content and meaning of Chinese linguistic and literaryknowledge teaching in the new century, including the latest constitution of the factors ofChinese linguistic and literary knowledge and the reaffirming of its meaning so as to providea big background of the study in the thesis.The second, a questionnaire has been carried out about the actual situation of Chineselinguistic and literary knowledge study in senior high school of Panshan town, and theweakening phenomenon and degree of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge has beenfound through the census and analysis of the questionnaire. Consequently an analysis hasbeen made regarding the reason of the weakening of Chinese linguistic and literaryknowledge, including the deviation of the understanding about the new subject standard,unsystematic knowledge of the text book, the exam leading teaching method which causes thetransference of the teaching point as well as teachers’ neglect of the knowledge.Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, relevant solutions are conceived to the variousproblems, including the requirement of correct comprehension about Chinese linguistic andliterary knowledge teaching of the new subject standard, the reestablishment of theimportance of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge in the textbook, the nurture ofstudents’ comprehensive quality of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge together withteachers’ hard working in the teaching. The aim of the thesis is to remind the related class ofthe importance of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge teaching with the hope to offersome references to converting the weakening of Chinese linguistic and literary knowledge inteaching. The execution of Full time compulsory education Chinese linguistic and literaryknowledge teaching standard2011is mentioned in the final part of the thesis with the beliefthat a more bright future will be brought to the further development of Chinese linguistic andliterary knowledge in teaching. Meanwhile, it is believed that Chinese linguistic and literaryknowledge teaching and the overall Chinese teaching will step onto a healthier way.
