The research on basic situations when college students take martial arts as an elective course takes a active role in participating in martial arts.improving the promotion role in human health as well as the health.It is the important theoretical basis and of practical guiding significance in the scientific body-building habit.The key methods used in this article are documents materials, interviews with experts, questionnaire surveys, logical analysis and mathematical analysis. Objective and systemic analysis of college students in Ningbo city who take martial arts as an elective course demonstrate current situation of inner motivation, the comparison of male-female and the inspiration methods to take martial arts as an elective course.Results1、Current situation of inner motivation of college students in Ningbo city is the main persue is the skills,body-building. Muscular Development.2、The comparison between the two sexes shows Effective equalization of females is a bit higher than that of the males’, from the aspect of inner motivation, the females’ Effective equalization is a bit higher than that of the males’. That means females’inner motivation is more than that of the males’ and there’s obvious difference between the two sexes.3、The factors impact on college students in Ningbo city are as follows teaching content account for32.42%,the difficulty of teaching content24.60%, the teaching level15.23%.teaching filed and equipment9.37%,the acknowledge way7.42%.4、The method to inspire college students in Ningbo city is to make use of demand movement changes and goal setting then achieve motivation.Recommendations:1、Increase the joy of martial arts classes create more games encourage students to think deeply, surpass themselves and cultivate the creativity.2、During the teaching of martial arts, people should pay more attention to improve and reflect the sports skills. The teaching evaluation should transfer from the mono-content to multi-content.3、Teachers should pay more attention to the fitness functions of martial arts. The health of students is of great significance, teachers should plan a suitable capacity of movement.4、Teachers should create some scenes in martial arts class to give good atmosphere and improve the student’ interest.Recommendations:1、the fun inherent in improving the teaching of martial arts, creating games, encourage students to dare to think, thinking, constantly surpass ourselves, need to be good at developing students’ cultivation of innovative spirit.2、in the teaching of martial arts in the process, focus on improving motor skills, attention to the positive feedback, from a single content in martial art teaching evaluation to a pluralistic evaluation of content changes.3、 focus on developing students’physical health, to focus on playing a martial arts teacher in teaching process of fitness function, appropriate arrangement of teaching exercise.4、stimulate motivation of martial art as an elective course of college students in Ningbo:needs and the use migration, with attributions, goal setting, achievement motivation.
