Motivation is the psychological motivation and internal motivation to promote a person's activities. The motivation of the movement has a direct decisive effect on the behavior and performance of the movement.Psychology believes that "motivation is the subjective motivation that motivates people to act,and it is a psychological state in which individuals initiate and maintain their actions." Self-efficacy is the concept of Bandura's research on the individual's confidence in participating in physical exercise.Based on the theory of motivation and self-efficacy,this paper will investigate the current situation of college students participating in martial arts from the perspective of participating in martial arts motivation and self-efficacy,and analyze the status quo of college students participating in martial arts.In this study, some universities in Shanghai participated in the martial arts public elections and community students as the survey objects, and used the methods of literature, questionnaires and mathematical statistics to visit and distribute the college students in six universities in Shanghai. The Table and Self-Efficacy Scale, based on expert interviews and reference to the data of predecessors, compiled the “Wushu Movement Motivation Questionnaire”,“Wushu Movement Motivation Scale” and “Self-Efficacy Scale”.A total of 420 questionnaires were collected,374 questionnaires were returned, and 316 valid questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS22.0.from that we get:1.The order of choice of martial arts motivations for college students in Shanghai is: self-defense,hobbies,physical fitness, interpersonal communication, examinations and competitions, influenced by teachers, influenced by books and media, and understanding of traditional culture. The order of influence of martial arts motivation is as follows: lack of suitable practice items, lack of corresponding guidance, lack of organizers, poor martial arts foundation, lack of venue equipment, loss of interest in martial arts, lack of training awareness, heavy academic burden Wait.2.The internal motivation of martial arts motives of college students in Shanghai is higher, the level of external motivation is general, and the level of non-motivation is lower. And the martial arts motivation is at a medium level in the overall and all dimensions.Self-efficacy scores are generally in the middle.3.Using Pearson correlation analysis,it is concluded that the self-efficacy of martial arts is positively correlated with the overall and various dimensions of martial arts motivation, and the correlation coefficient is significant. It has a certain linear relationship. The self-efficacy score can predict the motivation score through the linear regression equation.Suggest:1.Schools should strengthen the construction of traditional martial arts culture, enrich the content of martial arts teaching, focus on practical martial arts teaching, and give students the opportunity to participate in martial arts sports while promoting the martial arts exchanges.2.In combination with the actual situation of each school, students should not be interested in high interest, and the martial arts theory and skills need to be further expanded.Maintain the interest of college students in Shanghai to learn martial arts, develop the habit of persisting in practicing martial arts, and cultivate the awareness of lifelong martial arts.3.Appropriate material or spiritual rewards should be given to the martial arts organizers to ensure that martial arts enthusiasts have the opportunity to participate in martial arts in an organized and regular manner, especially in the golden age of freshman and sophomore.
