Generally speaking, teachers in secondary vocational school usually adopt traditional teaching models at present. And the students usually accept the knowledge passively, which keeps students from developing their learning abilities, In this paper, the author explores the teaching model of "guided learning plan", which is totally different from the traditional teaching models, so as to encourage the activeness of secondary vocational school students in learning math and as a result improve the effectiveness of math teaching in secondary vocational class.The paper is divided into four chapters. In chapter one,the author elaborates some problems in secondary vocational school math class as well as the significance of adopting the teaching model of "guided learning plan". In chapter two, the author demonstrates the theoretical basis of the teaching model of "guided learning plan" through theory of constructivism, theory of humanism, and Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development theory and the theory of meaningful study. Chapter three and chapter four are the key chapters in this paper, In chapter three, the author explores the effectiveness of "guided learning plan" model in secondary vocational classes. This chapter discusses how to design "study plans" and effectively carry out "guided learning plan" in accordance with the characteristics of secondary vocational school students. There are real class cases as demonstration. In chapter four, the author explores "guided learning plan" model in experiments in order to see how this teaching model effects students marks, thinking ability and learning habits in math. After the analysis of the experiment data, the author concludes as the following:(1) The using of "guided learning plan" model in secondary vocational school can help students get higher marks obviously and improve the efficiency of math learning effectively.(2) The using of "guided learning plan"model in secondary vocational school can help improve students’math thinking ability.(3) The using of "guided learning plan"model in secondary vocational school can help change students’math learning habits, which is good for their math study.(4) Compared with traditional teaching models, the using of "guided learning plan"model in secondary vocational school can help improve students’self-study ability, stimulate students’ interests in math learning and activate the atmosphere in math classes. What’s more, through the exploring of the teaching model"study plans", the author has improved a lot in professional skills.
