Moral education has always been highly valued in our country. Under the background of newera,how to further improve our moral education in Colleges and Universities and let the youngstudents grow in a more positive direction is an urgent problem to be solved. Because of thedifferences of historical and cultural tradition and social system, there are significant differencesin moral education in Universities between China and America, such as moral education target,content and implementation ways. But along with the strengthening of economic globalization,more and more informational are shared; China and America are gradually showing a mutuallearning trend. In the work of moral education in Colleges and universities, China and the UnitedStates are explored in the continuous research, attempts to try to find a moral educationinnovation road suitable for its development. Moral education in China is on the basic theory ofthe Marx doctrine as the dominant, the content of moral education is characterized by integrityand system theory, but lack of hierarchy, the main way of moral education is classroomindoctrination. It emphasizes the importance of theoretical study, course is slightly boring, andpractical effect is not prominent. While American universities moral education emphasizes thevalue of the individual, the goal of moral education is not prominent in politics. The content ofmoral education is more vivid and close to life, and it especially pay attention to history educationand religious education and have a good effect. Based on the comparative study of Sino-USuniversity moral education as the breakthrough point, and through the implementation of thegoals of university moral education way, there are five suggestions are put forward for theconstruction of moral education in Colleges and universities in China.The first chapter of this paper introduces the importance of moral education and the necessityfor reform, then analyzes the research purpose, meanings and methods. The second chapterdiscusses the moral present situation of American and Chinese Colleges, and points out itsshortcomings and achievements in the work of moral education. We should take the essence ofAmerican moral education, and make good use of it, until it makes a positive impact on our moraleducation. Chapter three is the key point of this paper. It includes three parts, and analysis themoral education targets contents and modes on different levels. Sums up the present andapproaching means of moral education to carry out a usual trend. Chapter four is difficult. Fromtheoretical basis, value orientation, policy proceed, deeply analysis the differences of concretereason. The last chapter put forward specific strategies on how to improve our moral educationcombining the reality of our country.
