After athletes complete the long-term dull training plan with few changes, they will face the bottleneck of obviously slower increase in competitive ability. The excessively dull training greatly limits the development of competitive ability of reserve force in Chinese swimming project.Amateur youngster swimming training is the foundation for the sustainable development of competitive swimming. We should pay attention to the amateur children swimming training, so we can achieve practical progress in competitive swimming level and steady improvement in overall strength. As a result, the study on diversified training methods and means of amateur youngster swimming is very important for future amateur swimming training. Research methods including literature method, interview method, questionnaire method, field investigation method, and mathematical statistic method are used to propose the following conclusions:1. Through study on diversification of other subjects in literature, the diversification of swimming training arrangement can be summarized as follows:training content, training load, training method, and training means are important component of training plan arrangement. More types in any2components and higher change frequency lead to more diversified training arrangement.2. The training for swimming athletes from9to12years old should apply diversified training means of vivid and active contents and forms, so youngster athletes will maintain high excitatory state and great interest by constantly adjusting the excitability of nerve process.3. It is found that the amateur swimming training in sports schools have dull training content and few changes in training frequency. Especially, there are very few training types for land practice and aerobic water exercise. 4. Limited training time and limited sports field lead to few training times of land practice. The training time of a land practice is too long. The combination of water exercise and land practice is not ideal.
