| With the leapfrog economic development of Dongsheng Districtin Ordos City, the elementary education in Dongsheng district has beenunprecedentedly improved. As an important component of elementaryeducation, music education in the primary schools of Dongsheng District alsohas been greatly improved and developed. In order to promote thedevelopment of primary-school music education and reserve talents for theeducational and cultural construction of Dongsheng District, the author hasinvestigated and analyzed the current situation of Dongsheng Districtprimary-school music teachers.The survey shows that the primary-school music teachers in DongshengDistrict have generally reached the requirements of the educationaldepartments, and can basically meet the teaching requirements. However,there is a relative lack of music teachers for Dongsheng District’s presenteconomy and future economic tendency; their teaching hours has far exceededthe normal teaching standard; the existing structure of the primary-schoolmusic teachers are not reasonable, which is mainly reflected in ages,professional titles, and nationalities, etc.; the primary-school music teachers’quality is not very satisfactory, i.e., they somewhat lack solid professionalskills, teaching and research ability, and flexible application of teachingstrategies.If these problems are not timely resolved, they will affect thedevelopment of the primary school music education in the Dongsheng district.To solve these problems, the author provides some measures from nationalpolicy, education authorities and schools, teachers, and society. First, the stateshould establish a sound policy and the system; Second, the educationauthorities and schools raise awareness and play their roles; Third, theteachers should promote greater awareness to improve their ability and quality;Fourth, the society plays a promotional and supervisory role of publicopinions. |
