The key to improve the quality of education is to promote the development of teachers ' professional ability.The Village teacher Support Scheme(2015-2020)states that we should develop vigorously rural education,and improving the professional ability quality of rural teachers in an all-round way.This study is based on the theory of Teachers ' professional development stage,and on the professional standard of primary school teachers(trial),The teachers ' professional ability is divided into 5 dimensions of education teaching design,organization and implementation,motivation and evaluation,communication and cooperation,reflection and development.Complying predictive questionnaires based on these 5 dimensions,then issuing and recycling questionnaires.After the reliability and validity analysis of the predictive questionnaire,a formal questionnaire was formed.Investigation on the present situation of professional ability of 303 primary school teachers in C County,Chongqing;at the same time,the research method of interview was conducted to interview 4 teachers in C County of Chongqing,In-depth understanding of the professional ability of primary school teachers in C County.According to the questionnaire survey and interview results,find out the present situation and problems of professional ability development of primary school teachers in C County,and based on the actual situation of C County,analyze the causes of the problem,then according to the different types of schools in C County,and put forward specific measures to improve the level of professional ability of primary school teachers in C County.Based on the findings,on the whole,the Professional ability of primary school teachers in C County of Chongqing is at a good level,there is significant difference in age,teaching age,professional title of teacher and type of school.And found a few existing problems: The teaching design ability,reflection and development ability of primary school teachers need to be improved in C County;There are significant differences in professional ability between township primary schools and village primary school;The professional ability of young teachers needs to be strengthened.Analysis of the cause according to the problem,the teaching work of primary school teachers is heavy in County C,obstructing the development of teachers ' professional ability;Insufficient implementation of training of teachers ' professional ability by local government and schools;and the geographical environment and transportation of Chongqing C County affect the improvement of teachers ' professional ability.According to the present situation of primary school teachers ' professional ability level in C County,combined with the actual situation in C County,put forward corresponding countermeasures from 3 aspects of the education department,schools and teachers.From the education department side: Implement the education help policy,introduce more excellent teachers to lecture,and guide the local primary school;Perfecting teacher training system and evaluation mechanism,Attach importance to the development of teacher professional ability.From the school side: Strengthening the training of teachers ' professional ability,decompression and training are important indispensable;Enhancing the difference and relevance of training;Increase the emphasis on the improvement of teachers ' professional ability in rural primary schools.From the teacher side: Primary school teachers should establish lifelong learning idea,Raising awareness of professional ability development;and strengthening the ability of educational teaching design,reflection and development.
