A new round elementary education curriculum reform is going deeply into each level of education and teaching with steady and strong trend, which has brought the development of basic education a fresh smooth air, and even the textbook writing, curriculum implementing and evaluation mode are changed. It highlights students’ subject status, stresses more on students’ free and healthy development, and long-term development and lifelong education and even after. In this extensive education reform, the history curriculum of basic education stage is also experienced a series of changes, especially the high school history curriculum, which employs Sino-foreign co-editor and thematic style, highlights the combination of macro narrative and micro inquiry of history subject, and require students’ history thinking ability increase greatly, which makes a part of students resulting indigestion problem. On the basis of the background of new curriculum, this paper will explore the prominent high school history educational link during when implementing new curriculum.With current dilemma of the teaching cohesion of junior and senior history course, this essay adopted the method of literature, survey and case analysis. Through textual reading, student survey, teachers’ interview and actual case analysis, it explored the theoretical basis, necessity and possibility of teaching cohesion of junior and senior history course study, as well as the existing cohesion problems in history teaching practices and the feasible approaches to enhance the teaching cohesion of junior and senior history teaching.As one elementary education, middle school education is coherent and integrated system. Junior middle school stage is the first time for students to learn history, which draws foreshadowing of their future history education. How to promote high school history teaching connect smoothly and transit successfully is a significant guarantee to realize the function of history curriculum. Based on correlation references and field investigation, this thesis aims to provide beneficial supplements to the improvement of the middle school history teaching practice.
