In the era of visual art, there are image and picture around us. This is a trendthat the image picture will take place of language and wording. With the impact ofvisual culture, people’s reading behavior also changes, as well as the readingorientation of current pupils. The following article is based on the review andresearch of reading behavior of the pupils in our school. There shall be someproblems of the quantity and contents of reading books and interest on reading. Tosolve the above problems, my research will push the pupils’ reading interest as wellas cultivate their capability of visual thinking and visual writing plus reading by themeans of “showing ideas by drawing for the readings”. It will enhance the ability ofexpression with visual literacy by the connection of kid-drawing and linguisticdeveloping. The reading attainments can be developed by teaching them drawingwith the value and added value for art education.
