Ordinary University Tennis Lessons Into Fast Tennis Play&Stay Teaching Experimental Research

With the rapid increasing number of people participating in tennis classes in universities of collegies, the original teaching mode could not satisfy teaching needs. This paper aims at transforming traditional teaching mode in universities or collegies, investigating hardware facilities of tennis classes teaching at some universities or collegies in Chengdu (including six Universities such as Southwest Jiaotong University, Southwest Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technolody and Sichuan Normal University), analyzing current shortcomings of software of tennis classes, introducing "quick and easy tennis" teaching methods to universities or collegies and proving its feasibility to improve teaching effectiveness and equality in the tennis classes.The subjects of this issue are randomly selected from ordinary students in two ordinary classes, Grade2011in Southwest Jiaotong University.60students per class, a total of120people,and they are divided into experimental class and control class. Experimental class takes "quick and easy tennis" teaching methods while control class takes traditional methods. After finishing the teaching experiments of these two classes, related indicators of the two classes will be respectively tested,and then analyze testing data collation, finally draw corresponding conclusions. In order to ensure its effectiveness and uniformity of the experiment, these students from two classes has been tested their basic tennis skills and constitution before the study, and using statistical software SPSS18.0to analyze, and its result shows there is no apparent difference between the two classes. Investigation and experimental results showing:1、With the explosing population of participating in tennis classes in universities or collegies, the lack of hardware facilities badly influence teaching quality and learning enthusiasm.2、In some ways of teaching methods and teaching evaluations, most teachers use traditonal teaching modes.3、Teaching experimental results show, the experimental class are prior to control class in mastering every aspect of tennis skills. And the conparative analysis show that experimental class score higher than control class in sports participation, basic tennis theoretical examinations, meanwhile there is a significant difference.4、The introducing of "quick and easy tennis" teaching methods takes an important role in cultivating and improving interests of students movements and lifelong sports consciousness, so as to making its due contribution to national constitution.Suggestions:1、It is recommended that tennis teachers in universities participate more in relatively professional training activities, such as international ITF"quick and easy tennis" coaches training class. And they should learn form professional tennis coaches.2、Teaching respectively through constitution and actual situation of students, and designing teaching programs through specific situation of students.
