With the progress of time, the increasingly high demand of education, the traditional teaching methods has been difficult to adapt to the demands of the times. Teaching need to teach students how to learn, so that students have the desire and ability of lifelong learning, rather than cultivate only exam, do problems, high scores and low capacity nerd. I hope completely changed the condition of the students’hard study, teachers teach bitter, the parents the bitter accompany by the transformation of teaching methods, therefore we find "teach less and learn more" has become the only feasible way to solve the problem. In this paper, the research of "teach less and learn more " by methods of literature, investigation, case, and actions both at home and abroad. We found that the " teach less, learn more " as a kind of teaching thought, which reflected the people think deeply of the relationship between teaching and learning and Reflection on the teaching practice, and very succinctly summarizes the basic trend of modern educational reform and development." Teach less, learn more " called for educators to stimulate students’ interest in learning, to provide more flexible display space for the students, let the students into learning, and strengthen students’ independent learning ability, foster active learning spirit, be ready for the future development of students." Teach less, learn more " touch the core of Education-why teach? What to teach and how to teach? In this paper, according to the new curriculum standard theory, the new curriculum theory, constructivism, multiple intelligence and the zone of proximal development theory,and the induction on inquiry teaching theory guiding ideology of " teach less, learn more " connotation, characteristics, elements, objectives and requirements, design principles, teaching organization and teaching strategies were described. On the basis of the guide " teach less, learn more " theory, the physical teaching is designed,according to the different class teaching in different ways and different teaching strategies to design. Finally, the research and practice was taken in the two parallel classes in grade one (Now in grade three) of the Linhe first middle school in Bayannaoer.Through the study of this subject, improved students’ interest in learning physics, promoted students’ autonomous learning ability, made students learn how to study, enhanced students’ awareness of innovation. Class implementation of the students’ subject status, in high middle school physics teaching can truly " independence, cooperation, exploration and research ", realize the three goals of teaching the new curriculum requirements, turn the classroom teachers school, rarely speak in class, the main learning by students. It improved the effectiveness of classroom teaching.Therefore, Study on classroom teaching practice of "teach less, learn more", it has obvious advantage in training students’ autonomous learning ability and thinking ability and innovation ability. It provides a theoretical and practical basis for the physics teaching in the future.
