With the development of the time and the deepening of education reform, traditionalteaching methods,depending on a mouth, is far away from meeting the knowledge demandsof high school students. It is a great challenge to the traditional teaching methods. As a result,society is calling for a new teaching method that meets the demands of the developing age. Atthe same time, information technology brings in a new opportunity. How to use informationtechnology effectively to teaching subjects is a hot issue to study at home and abroad in thepresent. In the teaching process of various subjects, it should be the integration of informationtechnology to show changes in teaching method, to improve students’ self-learning ability andlearning efficiency.For the age characteristics, high school students should have wider range knowledge, theeffective application of information technology is particularly urgent in language teaching.In this study, we use high school language teaching as a starting point, studying aneffective application of information technology in language teaching in high school, initiallybuilt a "self-Cooperation-inquiry" teaching mode, and specific case studies.In this paper, put forward their own ideas for how to effectively use current informationtechnology in language teaching in high school, and strive to achieve a combination of theoryand practice, and hope to be helpful to the majority of language teachers.
