The development of the times constantly, history curriculum is also in progress, continue to improve with the change of times. The2011edition of the history curriculum is amended based on the2001edition of the history curriculum on, and now, has been enacted. From the development of the2001Version of history curriculum to the2011version of history curriculum, history course will make a new step towards reform in higher. In the middle school textbook diversification and social development situation, research the new history curriculum standard, for the teaching practice and teaching evaluation, has very important practical significance. So, what relationships exist between the2011version of the standard and the2001Version of the standard? The2011edition of the standard has what new features? History Teachers should be how to deal with these new requirements? These are all we need to seriously consider the issue.This paper mainly uses comparative research method and literature analysis method, by comparing the2011version of the standards with the2001edition of the standards’ the difference, in part of the contents of the standard of Chinese Modern History,to study some new characteristics of the new curriculum. In this paper, a comparative study on the2011edition of the compulsory education history curriculum standard and the2001edition of the standard, starting from five aspects of the basic concept, course target, curriculum content, and the implementation. and then grasp the change of new curriculum in general, understand the new curriculum idea, correctly applied to the history teaching of.The text is divided into four parts.The first part illustrates the history curriculum standard, explain the nature of the curriculum standard, analysis of the role of the curriculum standard. The second part focuses on content standards in Chinese Modern History section to analyze the differences between the2011edition and the2001edition of compulsory education history curriculum standards. Account of compulsory education revision of the history curriculum standards (trial version), and then from the basic concept of old and new lesson mark, curriculum goal, curriculum content, implementation advice, etc were analyzed. The third part is a study on the characteristics of the standard in2011, analyzing the characteristics from four aspects, such as inheritance, more operational and times. These parts of the recommendations on the implementation of the new curriculum.The innovation of the curriculum standards is an important part of the content of the curriculum reform.
