Since the reform of new curriculum, great changes had taken place in history textbooks of senior high school in China, from the previous textbooks of single version to "various textbooks on one guideline", which is under the guidance of curriculum standards. As different versions of textbooks hold different understandings and grasps of curriculum standards, there are divergences in the selection and edition of textbook content, and such difference provides the possibility for comparative study. The text takes the modern treaty content as the research object, making a comparative research on the PEP Edition, Yuelu Edition, People’s Edition and Beijing Normal University Edition. The first part grasps the content settings of the foreign unequal treaties of modern China by unscrambling the curriculum standard, getting to know the writing thought of four versions of textbooks. The second part is the selection of the whole content and the layout analysis of the settings in four versions of textbooks, and grasps the similarities and differences between them on the whole. The third part makes a comparative analysis on the specific treaty choices, specific content of the relevant treaties and historical materials selected in four versions of history textbooks, drawing a contrast of the similarities and differences therein, and mainly analyses the treaty content taking existing historical achievements into consideration. The fourth part proposes the deficiency of edition in the content of treaties of modern history in the present textbooks aiming at the previous comparative analysis of four versions of history textbooks, and then proposing suggestions on edition and teaching. |
