The academic evaluation suggests that it is the value judgments of studentlearning outcomes, learning outcomes not only include the accumulation ofknowledge and skills, but also include the improvement of the problem-solvingability, develop emotional attitude, these learning outcomes is manifested in theprocess, focus only on the results of traditional evaluation methods can not judge. Toimprove the deficiencies of the traditional academic evaluation, a new round ofcurriculum reform in2001will evaluate the proposed evaluation system set up topromote the overall development of students as the focus of the reform, however,11years later, academic evaluation of the change and did not achieve satisfied with theeffectiveness of the traditional "examination" is still the main or even the only way ofevaluation, the modern academic evaluation change the concept of no specificoperation embarrassing reason, or because the front-line teachers do not understandthe evaluation cause.Performance assessment is a process of evaluation, in line with the modernreform idea, problem-solving skills through the performance of the students in theprocess to complete the task, students apply knowledge and level of thinking, emotional attitude evaluation. As early as the early20th century, a worldwide waveof the curriculum, Britain, the United States and other developed countries to use,and our performance evaluation can be said still in its infancy. Based on the status ofacademic evaluation reform, pointing out the deficiencies of the traditionalevaluation methods, comparative analysis of the end of the first grade of anelementary school mathematics papers, on the performance evaluation of thesignificance of the intervention of academic evaluation, and the concept ofperformance evaluation, characteristics, implementation steps specific research, andother content to our front-line teachers have a comprehensive and in-depthunderstanding of the performance evaluation, teaching the proper use ofperformance evaluation and optimization of the academic evaluation system, tocontinue moving forward to curriculum reform. Performance assessment can be broadly divided into five parts: The first chapterintroduces the research methods of this study the origin, purpose and meaning, anduse, and domestic and foreign literature reviewed. The second chapter outlines thedevelopment process and the theoretical basis of performance evaluation. Previousperformance evaluation research put forward their views, and a summary of thecharacteristics of the performance evaluation. The third chapter explains theshortcomings of todays academic evaluation and performance evaluation ofinterventional significance. Chapter four elaborate on the performance evaluation ofthe implementation of the specific steps. Chapter five is for some of theshortcomings of the performance assessment, explore appropriate solutions.
