As thelong-life learning’s ideas accepted by more and more people, many people realizedthe importance of family education, and the parent’s education ability have a greatimpact on the children’s education, a lot of parents school raise up in the primaryschool and middle school, a lot of curriculum about how to be a good parent arebecoming popular。Parents are the subject of parent education, the research aboutthe parents learning is not enough. In other words, its quiet important to do someresearch about parents’learning to study the situation of parents’learning andhow to improve the parents’ education. Expounds the origin of this study, the researchbackground, research purpose and research significance, then analyzes several keyconcepts in this study, summarize the existing achievement about parentslearning.The last not the least, illustrate about the selection of the research object.Chapter2, Introduction of parents learning theories. The author has citedthe adult learning theory of Manzullo adult learning theory to explain the importanceof parents to learn, that parents need to learn to help parents to competent role ofparents better. Peter Sage’s theory about learning organization explained about thetrends of learning family’s rise up.Chapter3, the investigation of Shanghai’s parents learning situation.Release the questionnaire through the network, recycling304valid questionnaires. Inorder to make up for lack of a high school diploma parents sample, through visits tothe vegetable market in the way of combination of interviews collected47parentsamples following another high school diploma. The questionnaire content mainlyincludes family education of parents; parents learn view, parent’s way of learning,learning content, learning disabilities and parents learning motivation aspects. Through the statistical analysis found a significant difference in learning situations ofdifferent degree of parents.Chpter4, Analysis of fourth chapter discusses Shanghai parents learn surveyresults. According to the survey results, combined with the late interview study ofparents in Shanghai city.
