Premarital prevention is defined as knowledge and skills-based training thatprovides couples with information on ways to sustain and improve their relationshiponce they are married (Senediak,1990). The premarital prevention includes thepremarital education, premarital therapy, premarital preparation and premaritalcounseling. The result shows that the internal consistencies of these subscales are0.825,0.895and0.896and the indicators of the validity are good. And the RELATEquestionnaire is used to evaluate the current situations of the romantic relationshipof the college students. To identify the application and the effectiveness of the premarital preventionprogram to the college students, the researcher recruits volunteers from ShanghaiNormal University, Shanghai International Business and Economics University,Donghua University and Shanghai International Studies University.
