| Every child is not static, they develop continuously. They have huge potentiality for developing from the real level to potential level gradually. If we only see children from a static view, their potential ability will be neglected, even it likely be permanently buried, which must bring bad effects to children’s future development. The Zone of Proximal Development theory of Vygotsky provides us a way to understand children, it guides adult with developing eyes to assess the ability of children and dig their potential.This study uses the method of literature study and historical study, with the theory of the ZPD as the research object. On the basis of researching and analyzing the theory, I apply the essence to pre-school teaching, cooperative learning, kindergarten assessment and feedback, then connecting with the present situation of pre-school education, in order to draw enlightenment on pre-school education in our country.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part:Introduction. Briefly discusses the origin, purpose of this study, research contents, research methods and concepts defined, and then simply combing and summarizing he theory of the ZPD in domestic and abroad dimension.The second part:The background of the ZPD. Tracing theoretical basis and real basis of ZPD proposed by Vygotsky from the perspective of history.The third part:Teaching and development revealing from ZPD. It expounds the connotation of teaching and development, content of teaching and the development, optimal period of teaching and development, and the teaching mode under the guidance of ZPD.The fourth part:Children’s cooperative activities in games. Firstly, it introduces Vygotsky’s view of children’s game, and then analyzing the relationship between the features of games and ZPD, finally focusing on the children’s cooperation in games in ZPD.The fifth part:the theory of ZPD used in preschool education. Analyzing the necessity of using the theory in preschool education and applying it into pre-school teaching, cooperative learning, kindergarten assessment and feedback, and then summarizes the successful experience and latent problems in the practice of preschool education.The sixth part:Enlightenment. Under the background of our current children’s pre-school education, we get further enlightenments from researching the theory of ZPD and its practice. |
