Chinese higher professional technology education only has a history of more than 20 years since 1980, covering half of Chinese higher education. The essential cause of the cooperation between higher professional technology education and enterprise lies in the increasing development of national economy and the demands for new-type professionals. It is not only a school-running mode, but also a talents fostering mode, as well as a innovation to traditional talents fostering mode. How to combine with the self-development rules of higher professional technology education, how to learn from foreign successful experience, how to actively explore the school-enterprise cooperation mechanism in practice and how to foster senior application talents for social economy development have become the significant subjects for higher professional technology education.With multi-methods of research and the macroscopic and rational consideration on Hunan higher professional technology education and social economy development, this paper propose the thesis of school-enterprise cooperation in Hunan higher professional technology education, explores its development rules and establishes theoretical frame and operation mode for its development strategy in order to fully exert the radiating functions of existing advantages, to better utilize higher education for supplying Hunan province with the functions of talents, technology and social services, to speed up the its reform and development and to make it become the solid intelligence support for promoting the competitiveness of Hunan province.
