With the rapid development of information technology, network applications are becoming richer and richer. The internet has become an increasingly important part of our life, through the Internet, people can get information to know the news, and they can also buy merchandise, pay the fees. But these things can arouse a series of online security problems and online moral issues. Online security and moral issues always confuse internet users. Online moral issues have been gradually gotten the attention of experts and scholars. Moral judgment is a core influencing factor of people to make ethical or non-ethical behavior. In network environment, the online moral judgment has become the starting point of this study.The present study investigated a random sample of1800college students, and employed literature method, open questionnaire, test method to develop the College Students’ Online Moral Judgment Test, and had studied the status of the College Students’ Online Moral Judgment. The conclusions of this study were as follows:1. Test of Factors of Online Moral Judgment for College Students(1) This dissertation developed five online moral dilemmas stories in the Test of Factors of Online Moral Judgment for College Students. This test comprised a total of sixteen items, one item evaluated the online moral judgment, and another one indicated the behavioral intention, two items from justice, three items from relativism, two items from egoism, three items from utilitarianism, and four items from deontology. A seven-point scale was used to measure all the items.(2) Test of Factors of Online Moral Judgment for College Students had good reliability and validity; it was in line with the psychometric indicators and could be used to measure the online moral judgment of college students’2. The status study of College Students’ Online Moral Judgment (1) The scores of College Students’ Online Moral Judgment were high; they were harsh on moral judgments in network events (M≥4.78).(2)When college students encountered these networks immoral behaviors, they would not do like this (M≥4.29).(3)①General Characteristics.The scores of College Students’ Online Moral Judgment in five factors were less than4. The score of utilitarianism in scenario1(casually curse) was4.32>4(SD=1.59); the score of deontology in scenario2(the spread of pornography) was4.22>4(SD=1.31); the score of egoism in scenario5was4.09>4(SD=1.50).②Sex difference. There were no gender difference in the scenarios1,2,3,5, and there was gender difference in scenario4. On egoism factor, the score of boys was significantly higher than girls (t=6.89, p<0.01); on the utilitarianism factor, the score of boys was significantly higher than girls (t=2.31, p<0.05); on the online moral judgment, the score of boys was significantly lower than girls (t=-5.26, p<0.01).③Major difference.There were no major difference in the scenarios1,2,4,5, and there was major difference in scenario3. On deontology factor, the score of liberal arts students was significantly lower than science students (t=-3.35, p<0.01); on the online moral judgment, the score of liberal arts students was significantly higher than science students (t=8.31, p<0.05).
