The Research For University Sports Dance Teaching Present Situation In Henan Province

As the developmented of the sports in our county, sports dancing has been promoted rapidly in highschools, it has demonstrated it’s incredible power in fulfilling students’ mental life as well as improvedstudents’ physical condition.This issue is based on the teaching condition of sports dancing in high schools in Henan province,used the method of looking through documents, interviewing, questionnaire, statistic and logical analysis,aiming to give advises to improve the condition by going through the factors that influence the teachingcondition of sports dancing, such as the capacity of teachers, how the school leaders and the students likesports dancing, site or equipment for sports dancing.The research shows that despite the wide spread, there’s a lack in the teachers of sports dancing, andthere are more female teachers than the male; secondly, younger teachers and the lower level of educationof them have made the unbalance of the title proportion; thirdly, few teachers are major in sports dancingand as a result, referees don’t have a qualify level, teachers of sports dancing do not have a qualifytechnique, they are unwilled and unable to study. Fourthly, most teachers are new in this area and most ofthem teach alone, only few of them teach in pairs, which is a better way to teach. Fifthly, teachers pay lessattention to theory but practice, the theory lessons are even less, which leads to the departure of the theoryand the practice. Sixthly, teachers have few chances to have training classes besides their classes, if they goout for a training, they have to pay for themselves, which add on the burden of the teachers. Seventhly,there are no unified teached outlines in Henan province, some schools revise outlines themselves, someeven have no teaching outlines.
