With the increasing openness of society, the impact of globalization, social transformation intensified, Chinese families experiencing intergenerational relationship dynamic process of change. For today’s traditional family ethics gradually fade, modern family ethics has not been established, studying on the characteristics of intergenerational relationships in rural areas, are important for harmonious development of intergenerational relationships. The pre-condition of this paper is:rural households in China intergenerational relationships which taken as parents’responsibilities towards their children are growing, the children’ return duties and responsibilities of the parents are now becoming to be narrow. Analysis the flow and its influencing factors of family resources from economic reciprocity, labor reciprocity and emotional reciprocity. Concluded earlier studies, draw the new features of the present rural families Intergenerational relationships, and explore the harmonious intergenerational relationships path. Structure of the paper is organized as follows:The first part, introduce the issues in this article proposed briefly, introduce the study sites, and discuss what is the significance and purposes of the research, what research methods was used, what is the research content? The research on family intergenerational relationships, take domestic and international scenarios into account.The second part, About the theoretical basis and theory of intergenerational relationships, such as "Maintenance-maintenance mode, intergenerational exchange theory", and the Life course theory. The definition of the core concept, like intergenerational relationships and family intergenerational relationships.The third part, Empirical analysis of the status of rural households intergenerational exchanges, using life course theory to analyze the intergenerational interaction of two generations of the rural households from economic interaction, labor interaction and emotional. As the two generations in different life cycle, in face of different stress, they need to help each other.The fourth part, Discuss the responsibilities and obligations parent-child ethical, discussion on parental responsibility. Verify the assumptions of the first half, i.e. parents to offspring responsibility is amplified; Discussion on the offspring "return".Verify the assumptions of the second half, that is the offspring of parental responsibility and obligations is narrowed. The fifth part, Summarized earlier, test hypotheses. Give some advices about the research. Point out the shortage of this research.
