| Educational change, pursuing of quality, fairness and balance, has led to organizational change of school. On the road to constructing high-quality school, the negative nature of traditional organizational changes and the transformation of the way of school leadership call for positive change pattern. In this context, Appreciative Leadership (AL) provides a new theoretical basis and practical path for the construction of high-quality school.Based on the logic of "from theory to practice", this paper is composed of4sections. The first section aims to access the connotation and substance of the theory of AL, which takes root in social construction and Appreciative Inquiry (AI). As a new leadership approach, it highlights the significance of the elements, including attitude, relationship, conversation and action in the process of leadership. The second part of this study focuses on the application of appreciative leadership theory in Primary school Attached to XiaoZhuang College. Under the direction of this theory, fundamental work has been done after choosing suitable school. From the perspective of AL, the third section analyses the real situation of the construction of Primary school Attached to XiaoZhuang College. On the basis of "personnel","property","school affairs" and "temperament", the study examines the different view of staffs and students, the efficient management of property, balance of teaching and school affairs, and the real situation of school temperament. And potential positive factors in school organization can be found from an appreciative view. The last component of this paper is to summarize the achievements by Primary school Attached to XiaoZhuang College in constructing high-quality school from four aspects in terms of attitude, relationship, conversation and action. It not only lays the good foundation of follow-up organizational change and development, but also provides a salutary lesson for the change of educational teaching. |
