This dissertation explores the history process and development of the Bank Street College of Education in New York,United States. Bank Street College of Education was established in1916under the influence of the Progressive Movement,and has formed a unique features in nearly a century of development. The development—interactive model of children education; Supervised Fieldwork/Advisement under the advisor of the teacher education as well as the diversity educational objects of continuing education, college itself has developed a unique educational institutions, which concludes children education and and school education, academic education and non-diploma education, general education and teacher education.The paper describes the background, project or curriculum, characteristics of the children education, teacher education and the leadership education in Bank Street College of Education, last but not least indicating the revelation of China’s children education, teacher education and leadership education. |
