With the progress of science and technology, the strength of the future world power competition is bound to reflect the quality of high-tech talent in the competition, the training of talent and the national future and economic development are inseparable. Among them, the cultivation of gifted children as the future quality of human resources, its development and education issues have been developed countries and developing countries in general concern. American as an economic power and technological power, very early attention the cultivation of gifted and talented children, and has formed a complete system, made a significant contribution to the educational development of gifted children, but also become a model for learning other countries of the world. In contrast, China’s research on gifted children started late, is still in the primary stage, and the United States has a huge gap. Therefore, learning from the experience of the United States for the cultivation of gifted children is conducive to promoting the development of gifted children in our country and improve the level of education.This paper mainly on American primary and secondary school for gifted children culture research training, trying to American gifted children culture method and experience are introduced from the aspects of macro, trying to provide constructive advice for the gifted children in China education development. This paper is divided into four chapters, the first chapter of American primary and secondary education of gifted children in outline, mainly introduces the laws and policies of talent in American schools children’s education history and the genius of American primary and secondary education of children on the basis of identification and culture education; the second chapter in American schools for gifted children, describes the identification standards and procedures of gifted children in America the United States, the education of gifted children training types and teaching methods; the third chapter of social support on school education of gifted children, analyzes the important role of American gifted children education management service institutions and organizations, the National Association for gifted children(NAGC) to support the education of gifted children, and social support system of education of gifted learning resources the children of the training of teachers of gifted children professional support. In the fourth chapter, the education of gifted children in primary and secondary schools Basic Experience and enlightenment, analyzes the American school for gifted children education basic experience and the existing problems, and puts forward several enlightenments to our country’s school for gifted children education. Hope that through the study of genius of American primary and secondary education for children, to our school development and cultivation of gifted children to good policies and measures to promote.
