On The Pedagogical Thinking Of Children’s Hot Readings Of Primers

Elementary readings in ancient China, as an essential part of China’s traditional culture, contributes, have made indelible contributions to the civilization and advancement of the human society.Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology, the launch of space shuttles, the explosion of atomic bomb, Internet technologies and achievements in biotechnology, sense about science tends to be easily accepted by people; while traditional culture is considered to be conservative, backward and narrow. Elementary readings ought to be innate with its particular value as it has existed in history for more than two thousand. Appropriate enlightenment from children is the very source of children’s life education, so the question remains whether children are suggested to learn traditional culture in their prime-time phase. Based upon this question and my tutoring experience of seeing so many parents request their children to read traditional textbooks and all sorts of problems resulted from the readings, I attempt to probe into the true value of elementary readings and find out the intersection point of tradition and modernity through conducting an investigation of the current situation of elementary readings, which objectively reflect the children’s situations of readings of primers in contemporary society. I hope the study will provide contemporary enlightenment education with useful messages and suggestions.On the basis of the relevant theories such as sociology of education, child psychology and moral education, survey method, case study, educational narrative research and statistics are adopted in the research. In light of investigations of some parents, children and enlightenment training institutions, adding the disposal of textbooks of primers, pedagogical thinkings and proposals are put forward on account of current situations of readings of primers. I hope my study will leave inspirations on others and call for their attentions of traditional culture as long as they make proper use of readings of primers and grasp the true values.
