With the accelerated pace of life, affected by the social environment, the thinking and behavior of highschool students in the constantly changing, high school students in order to better adapt to the needs ofsocial development, school and community to give a high degree of attention to the ideological andpolitical education of secondary school. In the new social context, the ideological and political education inthe secondary schools starting to focus on student-centered, and began to focus on foster healthypersonality and mental health. China’s ideological and political education commonly used words and deedsto impart knowledge, to improve students ’ideological and political education, this kind of educationsometimes can play a good education, but neglected the cultivation of students’ psychological quality, itoverlooks the high school students the dominant position. Psychological counseling and ideological andpolitical education in the content, principles, methods, and have connected. Through psychologicalcounseling, educators found that the psychological problems of middle school students in a timely manner,to adjust the psychological imbalance, eliminate psychological barriers, the high school students tomaintain a positive and healthy psychological. Psychological counseling in educational factors used to draw,and to improve the ideological and political education in middle school science and effectiveness.Psychological counseling in the ideological and political education in secondary schools as a researchtopic is divided into the following sections:The first chapter is to clarify the object of study of this subject, significance, current research andresearch methods and writing ideas.The second chapter is starting from the introduction of psychological counseling and ideological andpolitical education background and concepts, elaborated on the relationship between psychologicalcounseling and secondary ideological and political education.Differences between psychological counseling and secondary ideological and political education, thereare many things in common, to figure out the relationship between the two, is the premise of psychologicalcounseling in secondary schools ideological and political education.The third chapter analysis of the use of ideological and political education in secondary schools needto follow the principles of the psychological counseling. Applied to the ideological and political education of secondary school psychological counseling tofollow the principle of scientific, educational principles, directional principle and the principle ofsubjectivity, these principles not only conform to the laws of social development, but also to follow the lawof physical and mental development of students.The fourth chapter is focus on psychological counseling for an effective way of ideological andpolitical education in middle school.This part analyzes the use of specific ways and strategies of psychological counseling in secondaryschools in the ideological and political education, professional training, including the ideological andpolitical education workers for psychological counseling psychological counseling applied to secondaryschool ideological and political course, and group counseling for thinking and political education and thecreation of high school students to participate in psychological counseling environment.
