Facing the transformation strategic stage of by the number of spread to enhancethe quality of compulsory education, effective controlling students from dropping outof school is an important measure to consolidate the results of compulsory education.Rural area as a backward area of compulsory education in the usual sense faces itsgreater pressure of controlling students from dropping out of school. Analysis on thecauses of dropout students in compulsory education from rural areas is of greatsignificance to enhancing the ability to controlling students from dropping out ofschool.This study strives to exploring their durational experience and the dropoutbehavior in order to finding out the factors to affecting their dropout behavior byusing the northeastern hinterland village Xue as field location, three rural families asthe basic field units, the rural children born in the1970s to the1990s as the object ofstudy, and the life history as narrative paradigm. Researchers based perspectiveDiachronically, efforts to explore the different context of the times, what reason isenduring factors affecting rural students drop out of school, which is specific to acertain era characterized factors, and these factors the shift in the complexrelationship.The study found that with the change in the concept of family education, familyconditions (mainly refers to the impact of the family demographic structure, economiccapacity, etc.) and the gender perspective of rural students drop out of school behaviorcontinued to decline, with the rural communities involved in the external marketdeepening market-oriented factors (mainly refers to the notion of modernity and themodern way of life as well as market-oriented products) the impact of the continuedstrength of rural students drop out of school; addition, with the development of thetimes affect rural students drop out of school, family behavior is becoming more andmore depressed, the students’ individual choice is increasingly becoming the mostimportant form of the decision to drop-out or not. In addition, backward academicperformance in school by the lack of respect flu permanent factors affecting rural students drop out, contrast, better academic performance in school to get a sufficientsense of respect can effectively extend students’ learning cycle. Of course, anexception to the factors, unexpected events as unpredictable and uncontrollablefactors, at any age are there, and may be a crucial impact on student dropout behavior.
