Teacher participation in school decision making is of great significance topromote scientific, democratic school management. Public schools as the main bodyof the stage of compulsory education in China, the teachers’ participation in schooldecision-making, promote the school management to enhance the level of significancegreater. Therefore, it is necessary to understand the current our country public primaryand secondary school teachers’ participation in decision-making situation. In thispaper, taking Jilin city as a case of a junior high school and primary school, n-depthdescription and analysis of public school teachers’ participation in school decisionmaking, including the public elementary and secondary school teachers’ participationin decision-making, in the main, content of the participation willingness, participationand participation effect. Study of present public primary and secondary schoolteachers to participate in decision making problems, analysis of the causes of theseproblems and puts forward some suggestions for reference.This paper is divided into five parts: the first part is mainly introduced thebackground and significance of research, the teachers’ participation indecision-making research and research methods; the second part introduces theteacher participation in school decision making theory, and puts forward the publicprimary and secondary school teachers to participate in decision theory analysisframework; the third part is the analysis of the questionnaire and interview surveyresults the public primary and secondary school teachers to participate in decisionmaking problems; fourth part focuses on the analysis of cause of public primary andsecondary school teachers to participate in decision making problems; the last part ofthe combination of the current public school teachers in the existing problems and thecauses of these problems, to improve the teachers’ participation in school decisionmaking activities and put forward the corresponding suggestion...
