The employment rate of college graduates is an important indicator of the quality of higher education, which is paid much attention to by education authorities and the public. In the next decade, post-1990students will dominate the college campus. Therefore, we must fully understand their job-choosing view, which will be much helpful for universities to improve the career guidance and education of job-choosing view. The author survey331junior students from Zhejiang University of technology in the form of the questionnaire, and then handle the acquired data with the help of SPSS17.0, finding that the job-choosing view of post-1990college students shows the following characteristics:Job-choosing cognition:While the vast majority of post-1990students have a relatively high degree of self-awareness, but there are a considerable part of them don’t have a clear career planning, their awareness of the employment policy is in a passive stage. Many students believe that social relations are the determining factor in the process of looking for a job. Job-choosing attitudes:More than80%of the students feel the pressure of employment, about40%of which feel very frustrated, more than30%of the students are very confused. The analysis shows that students who don’t have clear career planning will be more likely to feel the pressure of employment.Job-choosing standards:For college students are isolated from the outside, salary expectations of a number of post-1990are too high to come true. They pursue a stable and comfortable work environment, and are dependent on the care of their parents. If they don’t reduce these unrealistic expectations, they are bound to feel a great sense of frustration in job-choosing process.Job-choosing orientation:A considerable number of post-1990students do not have a clear job-choosing orientation after graduation, positioning that step by step.Influencing factors:Interaction analysis finds that job-choosing cognition, job-choosing attitudes, job-choosing standards, job-choosing orientation of post-1990college students are affected in different degrees by major, gender, and family background (including parents’ education level, household income, family type).After the analysis of the job-choosing view and influencing factors of post-1990college students, this article suggest that the public, schools and individuals should work together to guide and shape the job-choosing view of post-1990college students.First, the government should be make policy in time, strengthen the orientation of policy; mass media should adhere to the correct value, to create a good atmosphere for public opinion; the public should concern about the students from underlying families, help vulnerable groups to get employed.Second, Colleges and universities should make its efforts to build the job-choosing view education curriculum system; conduct career planning education; organize job-choosing view education practice.Third, college students should really improve their skills; adjust job-choosing expectations; keep healthy job-choosing mentality; learn to develop social capital; improve the ability to make use of social capital.
