Around almost every college and university in China are cheap apartments and bungalows for rent,where lots of graduates live. They are living on school resources and look like enrolled students,but they aren’t. Such kind of graduates is called "school-drifters". The number is increasing over the years. However,raising from the lack of relevant institution and Social support,a large portion of them live in the border to the city,the whole living conditions has caused great concerns already. Therefore, putting this special vulnerable group into the range of academic research,has its realistic significance.This article takes the school-drifters living in hangzhou as the object of study,using the analysis framework of social integration into the analyzing their progress to society. Depending on relevant literature reviews,this thesis generalized the framework of social integration theory into four dimensions:economic integration,behavior adapt,cultural acceptance and identity. Based on this theoretical framework,this paper has adopted a great deal of questionnaire. Obtains through the corresponding target determination,the drifters in the above four dimensions all presents the low degree integrate orientation,the drifters have not been able to integrate mainstream society. In view of the obstacles they may encounter in the process of integration,this article mainly start from the perspective of social exclusion theory,using two dimensions (structural social exclusion and functional social exclusion) to do some attribution analysis. The school-drifters has been gradually recognized as the young generation of well-educated group,the integration conditions of whom do not only affect the whole group’s quality of life,but are also directly associated with series of issues surrounding the stability and development of our society. Proposed that from the social support,policy formulation,the social organization,subjective consciousness and the ideological and political education five aspects to promote the school-drifters’social integration.
