In nowadays society, news is everywhere around us, and it is more and morediverse both in presentation modes and carrier media. Therefore, many countries haveadded the content about news into their teaching materials so as to help students tobetter contact with society and adapt to it. Apparently, in recent years, Chineseeducators have realized that news is a type of important course resource of Chinese.And as an independent unit, journalese has been brought into high school Chineseteaching material, which attracts the attention of more educators to this domain.Journalese teaching of high school Chinese mainly includes two parts: requiredmodule and elective module. Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standards(experimental) advocates the development and usage of Chinese curriculum resourcesand puts forward the view of “Chinese learning of living”, which requires that inteaching, attention should be paid to connecting students’ study with real life, and inteaching practice, students should be guided to learn Chinese knowledge from life soas to form basic Chinese skills. This paper tries to point our the defects in currentJournalese teaching and discuss countermeasures from three aspects——Journaleseunit in required teaching material, the selective material News Reading and Practiceas well as journalistic practice.The introduction part mainly discusses the research purpose and significance,points out the theoretical significance of applying theories of journalism science toresearch and the practical significance of strengthening journalese teaching, and alsomakes a summary and analysis of the previous research results and the paper’sresearch approach; the first chapter defines the characteristics of journalese teachingas well as its status and function in high school Chinese teaching, and besides, itconducts a theoretical construction; the second chapter is the analysis of currentsituation, which points out the defects of high school journalese teaching, andanalyzes the causes of these problems; in the third chapter, based on the currentsituation, it puts forward some countermeasures to the development of journaleseteaching in high school Chinese curriculum.In spite of our country’s emphasis on journalese teaching in high school, it is not difficult to find that the defects in the required teaching material, selective teachingmaterial and journalistic practice are urgent to be solved. Therefore, based on theoriesand cases, according to the combination of Chinese curriculum and journalese, thepaper tries to find out the best method and approach for their integration.
